Trialling: An important update from the Warragul GRC

To avoid confusion the Warragul GRC wishes to confirm the following criteria for its trialling sessions:

After-race trials have a clear limit of three (3) trials per registered trainer. Trials cannot be allocated to another trainer to exceed this trial amount.

Regarding trials on trial days (Wednesdays and Fridays) – both sessions are open for bookings from 2:00pm the day prior. Trial limits per trainer are six (6) per registered trainer. Trials cannot be allocated to another trainer to exceed trial amount of six (6).

Trainers should represent themselves at all trial sessions or, alternatively, an employee of the trainer or direct relation of the trainer should be undertaking trials and dog handling.

Weekly schedules of trials are generated by GRV and approved by the club. To be clear and to avoid confusion 3 pp and 6 pp noted on this schedule relate to 3 trials per trainer and 6 trials per trainer.

Breaches of these criteria will leave the club with little alternative than to enforce trialling bans.

Note: High-vis tops must also be worn.
