The greyhound racing world is saddened at the recent passing of Mr. Keith Lineham, a long-serving Committee person and Life Member of the Warragul Greyhound Racing Club.
Keith, 91, bred, raced and trained greyhounds for many years in partnership with his family including brother, Eric (dec.).
Some of their more successful greyhounds included Uncle Wal, a champion hurdler in the 1940s and more recently Rare Aussie, a winner of 25 races in the early 2000s.
A funeral was held for Keith on May 27. He is pictured above at the official opening of the redeveloped Warragul GRC racetrack with wife Mynys in 2011.
