Warragul GRC has reviewed its scheduled Arm Trial sessions for Wednesdays following feedback from Greyhound Owners Trainers & Breeders Association (GOTBA) and Greyhound Clubs Victoria (GCV) to better cater to participants’ needs.
The existing split sessions will remain to allow trainers the opportunity to book either session:
- Session One to commence at 11:00am to 2:10 pm;
- Session Two to be extended from 2:30pm to 5:44pm.
These changes will be coupled with a sweep mat reduction time between trial session blocks, resulting in an additional 12 trials.
Trials will remain capped at 6 trials per trainer, with 2 dogs permitted per trial. Trainers booking the sessions must attend trials booked under their name.
The new structure will be piloted commencing Wednesday 7 June, 2023 and will be regularly monitored by the Warragul GRC along with GCV and GOTBA. There will be a formal review on 28 July 2023.
Please note, that the trial opening time will remain at 2:00 pm for both sessions.
